This is the Futaba 6J radio system with S-FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum) technology. Futaba is known for making the highest quality and most reliable systems on the market. The Futaba 6J has a large display, 15 Model memory, and many popular features only found in more expensive radios. With all these features and a fantastic price, we think the Futaba 6J is worthy of a second look when comparing to other 6 channel radios on the market. The radio requires 4AA batteries. We recommend using Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable AA cells. An optional rechargeable NiMh pack is also available.

The 6J faceplate looks clean and uncrowded, yet puts sticks, the programming keys and the rotary knob within easy reach. A built-in antenna prevents breakage and damage. |

The 6J’s rotary knob can be used for a fully proportional 6th channel, fine-tuning hover-pitch or scale flaps. It also leaves room for an added programmable mix you can activate with the flip of the switch. |
