The Flyzone Island Wings DHC-2 Beaver is one of the newest planes in the Flyzone lineup. The Beaver is one of the best flying, most detailed, best looking planes we have seen in a long time. It includes landing gear with wheels for landing on a street or runway and a float set for landing on a lake, pond, or river. When using the floats, the dual steerable rudders provide excellent control on the water. When using landing gear, the steerable tail wheel also provides good control. There are plenty of scale details on this plane. Our favorite is the lights. This plane has some of the most detailed lights in in both quantity and quality. It is truly capable of night flight. Takeoff and landing is a breeze with this plane. There is plenty of power for loops and rolls which makes the Beaver decently aerobatic.
